Some families know a great deal about their roots; others know very little. This site is an attempt to record what I've
learned about our family history. In these modern times, families tend to be scattered all over the country, if not the world.
One of the goals of this web site is to help our family stay connected even though we live far apart.
Communication is they key word. A lot of people use the phone...but tend to call family members only in emergencies.
This site is for helpful information as well as for fun. I hope that you will be able to communicate more with this family
as well as stay informed about your other family members.
On this page I'll provide a little information about why I am starting this site, as well as, why we should keep this
site going.
Also most of this family information was probably obtained from our family historian Bettye by talking to living
relatives and from researching public records. In the course of copying her research, I've discovered that I have many more
relatives than I ever thought possible! I would also personally like to thank her for going out and paving the way so my job
would be much easier. This site is for you! Thanks! I know I appreciate your work as well as my family! God bless you!
This
is a work in progress, so please contact me if you have any information that might help round out the picture.
*All information is from Bettye L. S.'s book These Are My People I might have revised some...but take no credit...so
this is my Disclaimer.*
